You can reach Neustadt with the train/car in 10 to 15 minutes.
Neustadt/Weinstraße (with very nice, romantically old parts of town with good gastronomy, the historical Hambacher Schloss (Palace) and in autumn the big German wine festival and the wine-grower-procession)
